So, occasionally, (and in the name of lazy blogging), I'll post a dumb statement for your enjoyment. It's most likely that it will come from some Lefty - be it a politician or a co-worker or a family member. It's just a matter of simple mathematical chance.
Today, because I think the Grandaddy of all stupid statements happened last week, I'm gonna go for a two-fer.
Obviously, leading off, is Representative Hank Johnson speaking to Admiral Robert Willard, "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize." He was discussing the effects more Marines and their families will have on the island.
Yes. He said it. Really..........I swear.
Next, Representative Phil Hare says, "I don't worry more about the Constitution," when asked where in the Constitution anything appears about health care reform. Yeah, that's an absolute gem and the interviewer's response is priceless...he says "HA! Jackpot brother!".
Then, after some stomping his feet and looking upon his constituents with disgust and contempt in his face, he hops into an enormous SUV and drives away to taunts of "Better start looking for a job, buddy".
For those of you voters that do care about the Constitution, here is Hare's opponent.
See both videos after the litte jumpy, more thing.
